Vickie Lynn Knopp age 61 of Statesville Community died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. Born June 17, 1965 in Manchester, TN, she was the daughter of Royce Murphy and the late Jeanette West Murphy. Vickie was preceded in death by a sister, Debi Chaophasy Adcox and a nephew, Justin McKinney.

Vickie attended Watertown High School and later worked in the school library.  She  worked in home health and as a clerk for Dollar General Store.  Vickie loved cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Mitchell Knopp (Casey) of Lebanon and Meghann Childress (Mike) of Clarksville; grandchildren, Gracey, Tylee and Hadley Childress; her father, Royce Murphy of Statesville; sister, Connie McKinney of Manchester; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday.
