Vickey Ellen Vaden age 73 of Watertown, died Monday morning, Aug. 27, 2018 at her residence. Born July 28, 1945 in White Sulphur Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sally Jane White Fogus and Randall Gene Fogus and was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Ray Vaden, Sr. in 2006; sisters, Sherry Vance and Robin Fogus and a brother, Ellis Walton. Vickey was a former employee of Toshiba and a longtime caregiver at King and Nevins Veterans Home in Lebanon. She is survived by her sons, Sammy Ray (Margaret) Vaden, Jr. and James (Jenny) Vaden both of Watertown; grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth Vaden and James Samuel Vaden; great granddaughter, Adilynn Isabelle Neal; fiance', Charlie Morris of Watertown; sisters, Bobby Crawford of Eustis, FL, Pat Hess of Bel Air, Md, Penny Fogus of Edwardsville, PA, Nancy Haymond of Dover, DE; nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. till service time Thursday. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment at Eastern Gate Cemetery.
