Robert Paul Smith age 75 of Gordonsville, died Thursday at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Born Nov. 22, 1945, he was the son of the late John Houston Smith and Sarah Baird Smith. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and was employed as a forklift operator. Robert is survived by his wife, Carolyn Murphy Smith; children, Carly Butcher and Nicole Butcher; grandchildren, Samantha Butcher and Alexis Bush; brother, Jimmy and sisters, Martha and Lucille.  The Smith family has chosen cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
