Robert Lee Johnson age 96 died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025 at his residence in Lafayette, TN. Born Feb. 24, 1928 in Smith County, TN, he was the son of the late Thomas Eldridge Johnson and Angie Lee Wilkerson Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hettie Lou Wilkerson Johnson; step-daughter, Ann Hyett; sons-in-law, Randy Trisdale and Robert Blair; brothers, Haskell and Ernest Johnson; sisters-in-law, Mary Johnson, Betty Johnson and Faye Johnson.

He was a member of the Philippi Church of Christ and was a retired truck driver for Barry Carter Milling Company.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Mary Trisdale of Lafayette and Connie (Anthony) Goolsby of Tompkinsville, KY; step-daughter, Carolyn Blair of Hartsville; grandsons, John "Bubba" Fields and Robert Fields; 8 great grandchildren and a number of step-grandchildren; brothers, Albert Johnson of White Bluff, James Johnson of Hartsville, Jesse (Margie) Johnson of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Dolores Johnson of Hartsville.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Seamon officiating. Visitation 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday.  Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
