Richard Allen West, Sr. age 67 of Milton, died Wednesday evening, June 24, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Born Dec. 27, 1952 in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late John William Newton West and Belva Hurst West and was preceded in death by a brother, Buster West and sisters, Wanda Gail Andrews and Darlene Wilkerson. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a load supervisor for an auto transport company. Richard is survived by his wife, Christine King West of Milton; sons, Richard (Sherry) West, Jr. of Watertown and Timothy (Melinda) West of Watertown; grandchildren, Cody (Taylor) West and Chase (Kristen) West both of Alexandria and Trenton West and Caitlin (Chase) McMillin both of Watertown; brothers, Woody (Patsy) West of Hilliard, FL and Buddy (Pat) West of Inverness, FL; sisters, Teresa Bahler of Hilliard, FL, Fran Holton of Callahan, FL and Lydia (Patrick) Palmer of Knoxville; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Hale officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. till service time on Wedneday.
