Richard Bertram "Dickie" Harris age 86 of Watertown, died July 25, 2016 at Tennova Hospital. Born June 3, 1930, he was the son of the late John Evan Harris and Carrie Belle Landis Harris. Dickie was in the music business and retired from the Veterans Administration. He was well known in the music industry having played in the Bob Eaton band, was a pedal steel sideman for Ernest Tubb and played with Marty Robbins, Cowboy Copas and many other Opry stars. He was a 50 yrs. member of Comer Lodge No. 417, the York Rite Masons and the Al Menah Shrine. He was a member of Woodbine Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Nashville. Dickie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Pinion Harris of Watertown, brother-in-law, Edward Pinion of Tuscan, AZ; several cousins and 5 cats that he dearly loved. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
