Pamela Joy Cates left this earth to be with God on November 2, 2026. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Patton; little sister, Teresa Patton-Carter and cherished brother-in-law, Richard; beloved nephew and grandnephew, Blake Carter his son, Grant. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Blake Patton.

 Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Jennings Cemetery in Statesville, TN. Pallbears will be Richard Carter, Blake Carter, cherished friends Lee Kelly and Larry Gold. Pam was a loving, caring, beautiful, kind, generous, daughter, big sister, and proud aunt, who loved life, to travel and kitty cats. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
