Norman Eugene "Spanky" Page of Liberty was born Oct. 19, 1951 in Nashville, son of Elic and Bessie Baggett Page and departed this life on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2024 at St. Thomas Dekalb Hospital in Smithville. Norman is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Spain Page; children, Troy (Tonia) Page, Marcinda (Lee) Allen, Jason (Lora) Page, Brandi (Jeromy) Wright; he was Bampa to 15 grandchildren, Christopher (Karista) Gallimore, Kayla (Ryan) McDowell, Wyatt Allen, Jessie Allen, Cory Allen, Dallas (Kimberly) Page, Alexis (Cheyenne) Robinson, Randy Gillespie, Ashlee McRae, Shane (Lauren) Gillespie, Samantha (David) Adams, Dylan Page, Kayleigh Ann Page, Bentley Wright, Ashton Wright; and Bampa to 15 great grandchildren, Elijah, Caleb, Ellie, Jaxon, Easton, Cameron, Trinity, Sophia, Gavin, Nyla, Miracle, Brennan, Marleigh, Roseleigh, Maisyn; a sister, Martha Sue (Burton) Butler and a favorite uncle to many-many nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his father, Elic Hugh Page; mother, Bessie Lee Boyd; brothers, Jewell Page, Arthur "Papa" Page, Elic Page, Freddie Page and nephew, Ernest Hutcheson; sisters, Doris "Nanny" Underwood, Bessie Lee Rogers, Judy Brown, Mai Smith. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Baggett officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. till service time on Monday.
