Martha Jane Tillman age 87 of Hermitage, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Lakeshore Heartland Senior Care in Donelson. Born Nov. 6, 1928 in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Allen Thompson and Daisy May Hickman Thompson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Anne Markman and grandson, Chris Ferrell. Martha was a 40 year employee of Washington Industries. She is survived by a son, Michael J. Tillman and his fiance', Cynthia Gail Hunter-Kirk of Hermitage; daughter, Donna Sue Trusty of Mt. Juliet; grandson, William Jeffrey (Rebecca) Matthews of Roswell, GA; granddaughter, Shannon (Doug) Bell of Springfield; great grandchildren, Madeleine D. Matthews and Esther Bell. Graveside services and interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville.
