Lucy Ray Wilson Stoner age 90 of the Greenvale Community died Wednesday morning, August 2, 2017 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon. She was born Aug. 12, 1926 in Cannon County, daughter of the late Luther Hall Wilson and Allie Lucy Patterson Wilson and was preceded in death by her brothers,
Dewey and Guy Wilson and sisters, Carmine Cunningham and Ina Ruth Givens. Her husband of 59 years, Loyd Stoner preceded her in death on March 11, 2004. Lucy Ray became a member of Greenvale Baptist Church in 1939 and has been an active member for 78 years. She graduated in 1945 from Watertown High School and was a homemaker and farmer alone with her husband. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Louis Barrett of Greenvale; a grandson, Joey Barrett and his wife, Kendra of Lascassas; brothers-in-law, David (Ruth) Givens, Alton (Ann) Stoner, Hugh B. (Freda) Stoner; sisters-in-law, Maylene (Willie) Floyd, Edith Orrand, Christine Wilson; nieces, Ruth, Barbara, Betty Joann, Helen, Denise, Diane, Tracy, Kim and Tammy; nephews, Bob, Gale, John, Mike, Timmy, Chris, Morgan and Patrick; a special great nephew, Luke McPeak; special friends, Tony Rich and the nurses and techs of South I and II Rehab Halls at Quality Center of Lebanon. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Pollard and Bro. Ronnie Smith officiating. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Saturday and prior to services Sunday. Pallbearers, Louis and Joey Barrett, Bob Wilson, Mike Graves, Alton Stoner, Luke, Justin and Travis McPeak. Interment at Greenvale Cemetery.
