Lorene Alsup age 92, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at her residence in Cocoa, FL. Born in Carthage, TN, Lorene was one of 13 children of the late Marcus B. and Frankie Ethel Hardcastle Oliver and was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Alsup in 1998. She will be remembered as the loving matriarch of her family who truly enjoyed the gift of life. Some of her many talents included; playing the guitar, banjo, singing, dancing and cooking lavish meals for family and friends. Lorene will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Clemons, Sandra Field, Allie McRenolds, Jeri Marchetti and Jamie Koop; sister, Wanda and brother, Odel Oliver; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19. 2017 for graveside services at Wilson Co. Memorial Park in Lebanon.
