Linda Mai Stephens age 82 of Watertown, died Thursday morning, Sept. 17, 2026 at her daughter's home in Louisville, KY.  She was born April 7, 1944 in Lebanon, TN, daughter of the late Hayden and Lula Mai Brown. Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Stephens; her grandchildren, Alex Stephens, Hudson and Hayden Stephens, and Miles Cummins.  She was also preceded by her siblings, Aubrey Brown, Mildred Kydd, Liz Crabtree, Jimmy Brown and Franklin Brown; her sisters-in-law, Louise Claiborne and Betty Vandygrift; and her brothers-in-law, James Stephens and Marvin Vandygrift.

Linda is survived by her children, Bill Stephens of Lebanon, Terra Cummins and husband, Rick of Louisville, KY and Chris Stephens and wife, Erin of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jessica (Britten) Stephens, Zach (Micayla) Stephens, Carly (Jackson) Green, Madyson (Conner) Cummins, Preston Stephens; great grandchildren, Cain Pitts, Aaliyah Stephens, Blaikelyn Gholston, Aubrielle Gholston, Willow Gholston, Cohen Green, Callahan Stephens, Kori McGrew and soon to be, Cooper Green.  She is also survived by her sister, Betty Brasher and brothers, Dallas (Judy) Brown and John (Betty) Brown; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026 at Hunter Memorial Park in Watertown.
