Linda Ann Cripps age 74 of the Statesville Community, died Thursday morning, June 30, 2016 at her residence. Born Apr. 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lillie Pearl Belcher Brewington and was preceded in death by her sons, Freddie Lee Cripps, Jr. and Dewayne Allen Cripps and by 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Linda is survived by her husband, Freddie Cripps; daughter, Debra Mahaffa and granddaughter, Debra Lynne Jones and husband, Troy, all of Statesville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Neal, Bro. Eltis Brown and Bro. Steve Brown officiating. Pallbearers, David, Gary and Michael Kemp, Freddie Mofield, Anthony Cripps, Tony York. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday. Interment at Wilson Co. Memorial Park.
