Lawrence Edward Potts age 69 of Watertown, died Friday morning, Oct. 11, 2019 at his residence. Born July 12, 1950 in Nashville, he was the son of the late John Richard Potts and Julia Polk Potts and was preceded in death by brothers, Leslie and Richard Potts and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Potts. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Christine Potts of Watertown; children, Eugene (Sue) Pegram of Brush Creek, Larry (Charity) Potts of Alexandria, Kelly (Eddie) Tucker of Watertown, Jessie (Angel) Potts of Hartsville; grandchildren, Eddie Tucker, Jr., Jesse, Matthew, Brian, Christian, Bethany and Nathan Tucker, Samantha and Sayla Potts, Jericho and Jonah Powell, Chrissy and Cody Pegram, Steven Chapman; brothers, Stanley Potts, Marty (Debbie) Potts and Clifford (Denise) Potts all of Nashville; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 at Hunter Funeral Home with Marty Potts, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. till service time on Wednesday. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment at Hunter Memorial Park.
