Kent Richard Martinson age 71 of Watertown and formerly of Minnesota died Saturday morning Feb. 16, 2019 at Lebanon Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon, TN. Born Dec 7, 1947 in St. Paul, MN, he was the son of the late "Marty" R.A. and Alys Lindahl Martinson. Kent was a long time Emergency Medical Technician serving over the years in Minnesota, Iowa, Kentucky and Tennessee during his career. He had a love for the history of EMS service, the vehicles and equipment used. Kent had played in a number of small bands over the years and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Brad) McEwan of Woodward, OK; son, Brett (Lori) Martinson of Farmington, MN; grandchildren, Max Martinson, Quentin Thomson, Casey, Colbey and Connor McEwan, Heidi and Rayce McEwan; great grandchildren, Wilton Thomson and Jessi Pipins; sister, Lynelle Harms of North Mankato, MN; nieces and nephews, Erik Harms and Stephanie (Brandon) Megal along with a host of friends along with his cat Bashful. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 23rd at 4 pm at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation 1 pm till service time. He will be interred in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. James MN at a later date.
