Julie Byrd Nixon age 58 of Watertown, died Thursday morning, Dec. 6, 2018. Born March 3, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Martin A. Byrd II and Norma Jean Harrison Byrd. Julie is survived by her husband, Rickey C. Nixon of Watertown; children, Tracy (Joel) Taylor of Watertown, Alora Nixon of Adams, TN, Chasity Taylor of Wayland, KY, Natasha (Benny) Slone of Freeburn, KY; 7 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Joan (Patrick) Coode of Nashville, Mike (Brenda) Byrd, Sandy (Ronnie) Hobbs, Patrick Byrd all of Mt. Juliet and John (Ginger) Byrd of Smithville; 9 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Roger McCann officiating. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. till service time Sunday. Pallbearers, Mike and Patrick Byrd, Randy Lamberson, Joel Taylor, Matt Shahan, Josh Tate. Interment at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Smithville.
