Julia Marie Wills age 77, formerly of Watertown died Sunday morning, Oct. 3, 2021 at her home in Byhalia, MS. Born Nov. 23, 1943 in Velasco, TX, she was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Alice Wilson and her husband and father of her children, Russell William Lanham in 2001 and a brother, Asa Wilson. She was a loving wife and homemaker, and enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing, reading and art. She worked in real estate, Douglas County Tax Assessor's Office  and was a partner in NTTC Telecommunications.  Julia is survived by her husband, Michael Wills; son, William Lanham; daughters, Colette (Michael) Stoffel and Brandye (Travis) Thomas; grandchildren, Taylor (Jeremy) Bratcher, Jordan (Jennelle) Wood, Madison Lanham, Alex Stoffel, Zoey Thomas; great grandson, Oliver Wood and honorary grandsons, Zach Horne and Aaron (Maranda) Morgan. Funeral service 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at Hunter Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Poole officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time on Wednesday.
