James Luke
White
Jan 29, 2003 — Apr 26, 2024
Lebanon
James "Luke" White tragically left us on April 26, 2024, at the age of 21. Luke loved the outdoors, motorcycles and Ford trucks, pocketknives, baseball, hunting and fishing. He was our comedian and our dare-devil. Luke loved fiercely and feared little. He was unknowingly the "glue" of our family and he loved with actions-you got a hug with that "I Love You" every time. Luke was a protector to all he loved-his family, including his truck and bike families, his friends, the Alabama Crimson Tide and was especially loyal to his furry best friend, Zeus.
Luke was preceded in death by great-grandparents Charlie and Margaret (Bop & Granna) Robertson and Bob and Danise (Papaw & Mamaw) Fisher, grandmother, Tammy White and cousins, Tori Cook and Katie Weathers.
Luke is survived by his mother, Erika Journeay (Nick Coffee) and siblings, Alyssa White and Kasen Journeay. Grandparents Pepaw and Nana (Jamey and Marsha Robertson), aunts and uncles, Phillip and Michelle Tomlinson, Rick and Shelia Weathers, Vicki Cook, Michele Fisher, Timmy and Helen (Weezie) Thorne, numerous cousins and his uncles, Craig Cook and Jr Kingsland.
Honorary pallbearers will be fellow employees of Wilson Co Water & Wastewater Authority, members of Next Level and chosen brother, Joseph Pitts. Active pallbearers include Matthew Spugnardi, Charlie Hopper, Brody Parsley, Justin Morse, Heath Gilley, Jarvis Jenkins, Jonathon Holbert and Kieron Bolton.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Watertown First Baptist Church with Michael Eubanks officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 2 till 8:00 pm at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 2 pm till service time at the church. Interment will be at Swaffer Cemetery, 800 Athens Rd, Lebanon, TN.
Luke loved to "all be together" so the family requests you to share in food and fellowship immediately after the burial at 800 Athens Rd. Please plan to stay to share some hugs and "I Love You's" in our sweet guy's honor. Everyone is welcome.
