James Calvin "Bear" Cox age 63 of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday morning, Nov. 18, 2018 at his residence. Born April 14, 1955, he was the son of Lana Mai Brown Cox and the late Harry Calvin Cox. Jimmy was a long time equipment operator and truck driver. He is survived by his long time companion, Melanie Adkins of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Christina Parks of Watertown and granddaughters, Faithlynn and Grace Parks; his mother, Lana Mai Gray of Lebanon; sister, Joyce (James) Bilbrey of Watertown; nephew, Chris (Tiffany) Bilbrey of Watertown and great niece, Hannah Bilbrey and great nephew, Christopher Bilbrey. Funeral services 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Eugene Bull officiating. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. till service time on Wednesday. Pallbearers, Chris and Alex Bilbrey, Jerry and Justine Armstead, Jacob Barrett, Collins Addison. Interment at Conatser Cemetery.
