Jackie Louis Wright was born Nov. 7, 1936 in Alexandria, TN, son of the late Jack and Frankie Bradley Wright and departed this life on Wednesday evening, Jan. 3, 2024 at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Wright Wade and son-in-law, Wayne Wade and a great granddaughter, Oakley. Jackie is survived by his wife of 66 years, Delores Simpson Wright; son, Todd Wright and his wife, Kim of Tuckers Cross Roads; grandchildren, Brooke (Tyler) Mullican of Winchester, Kasey (Josh) Moss of Mt. Juliet, Hanna (Matt) Lynch of Carthage; and four great grandsons. Jackie was a member of the Church of Christ and a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1955. He retired from AT&T with 30 years of service. He loved riding horses, raising beef cattle and spending time with his family. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at Hunter Memorial Park with Bro. Brian Horner officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday.
