Jack E. Puckett age 97 of Hermitage, died Monday morning, June 1, 2020 at his residence. Born Oct. 24, 1922 in Smithville, TN, he was the son of the late Martin and Maude Eller Puckett. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Michelle Kimbrel Puckett, who was the mother of his children; his second wife, Frances L. Tramel Puckett, who he was married to for 30 years. Also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret. Jack was a US Army veteran of WWII and was employed for over 60 years at Southern Machinery Co. He is survive by sons, Charles and Michael Puckett; daughter, Catherine Bennett; step children, Gene Tramel, Karen Barth and Terry Tramel; several grandchildren and step grandchildren. Graveside services and interment were on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
