Herbert Lawson Corley age 86 of Watertown, died Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2016 at his residence. Born March 6, 1930, he was the son of the late Cirg and Montie Cassetty Corley and was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lucy Watson and brothers, Mack, Jewell, James and J.L. Corley; brother-in-law, Forrest Harvey. Hoover was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1948 and a member of the Commerce Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a 35 yr. employee of AVCO Aerostructures. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Borum Corley; daughter, Ginger Freeman and her husband, Jo Jo of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Micah, Patrick and Kathleen Freeman, Erin Freeman and her son, Easton Fox; sisters, Mildred Dress of Minneapolis, MN and Earlene (Billy Joe) Seals of Madison; sister-in-law, Virginia Harvey of Monroe, LA; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Shepard officiating. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and Noon till service time on Saturday. Pallbearers, Jewell Huddleston, Bobby Allison, Jerry Pritchett, Len Anderson, Larry Eastes, Kenneth Stutts. Interment at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
