Grady Edward "Edd" Carr age 87 of the Norene Community, died Sunday morning, May 12, 2019 at his residence. Born April 30, 1932 in Trousdale County, he was the son of the late Daniel B. Carr and Frances Gregory Carr and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Carr; sister, Rebecca Jones and a brother, David Carr. Edd was retired from TRW Ross Gear and was a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his sons, Bruce Carr and Barry Carr and grandsons, Adam (Sonya) Carr and Alex Carr; brother, Jerry (Pat) Carr of Lebanon; sisters, Dorothy Newburn of Memphis, Marie Boyanton of Lebanon, Jean Quinn and Peggy Rackley both of Hartsville; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Don Mathis officiating. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment at Green Grove Cemetery in Trousdale County.
