Garland Dee Barnes age 65 of Lebanon, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at his residence. Born Feb. 24, 1953, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Elizabeth Morse Barnes and was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Finley Barnes; sister, Jennifer Barnes and a brother, Michael Barnes. Garland was an auto and diesel mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his children, Wayne Barnes, Crystal (Mike) Fortune and Dawn (Dave) Cooksey all of Lebanon; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Fortune, Michael Ray Fortune, Lindsey and Amber Grisham; brother, Johnny Barnes; sisters, Grace Barnes and Denise Reece of Lebanon and Billie (Anthony) Wickham of Daytona Beach, FL; nieces and nephews. A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 from Noon till 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown.
