Douglas Edward Fennell age 61 of Alexandria, died Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Born Feb. 27, 1965 in Canton, IL, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Fennell and Karen Sue Davids Fennell.

Doug was a 1983 graduate of Watertown High School and a commercial painter, he worked hard all his life and loved his family very much.

Doug is survived by his daughters, Nicole Lynn (Page) Cammack,  Kristina Cunningham, Erica (Mike) Millard and Lana Fennell; 5 grandchildren and an expected great granddaughter.  He is also survived by  his sister, Tracy (Butch) Butner of Brush Creek; brother, Allen (Brenda) Fennell of Lebanon; nieces and nephews.

A Time of Remembrance and celebration of Doug's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from Noon till service time on Sunday.
