David Hendricks Myket

David Hendricks Myket age 67 of Alexandria, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 13, 2026 at his residence.  Born May 24, 1959 in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Andrew Myket, Sr. and Beverly Ruth Patterson Myket.

David was a retired manufacturing employee with Nissan automotive. 

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Yvonne; stepsons, Roger (Misty) Smith and Garry Smith both of Carthage and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  David is also survived by his brothers, Andrew Myket, Jr. of South Dakota and Pete (Judy) Myket of Pennsylvania; his sister, Nancy (Al) Al-Arif of Raleigh, NC and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time on Monday. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
