Carrie Elizabeth Tidwell age 86 of Watertown, died Tuesday morning at her residence. Born Jan. 25, 1932 at Commerce, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Nissie Kelley Bennett and was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Winston Tidwell and a grandson, Christopher Tidwell. Carrie is survived by her children, Glenda (James) Irvin, Roger (Debbie) Tidwell and Brian Tidwell all of Lauderdale, MS; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Bennett of Lebanon; niece, Jennifer Bennett, nephew, Warren (Kim) Bennett; several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at Hunter Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Edwards officiating. Visitation Friday from 10 a.m. till service time. Interment and graveside service 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lauderdale Cemetery in Lauderdale, MS.
