Alice "Carolyn" Beadle age 84 of Lebanon, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 16, 2026, at Vanderbilt-Wilson Hospital. Born Oct. 9, 1941, in Lebanon, TN, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Jack Pennington and Vinnie Anderson Pennington and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Beadle.

Carolyn and her husband, Billy were owners of Beadle Trucking and she was Office manager for Beadle Garage. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Carolyn was a loving daughter, caregiver and homemaker.  She was a lifelong member of the Baird's Mill Community and had many friends and neighbors.  Carolyn loved to cook and enjoyed gardening and canning what she grew. She was also a knowledgeable seamstress and enjoyed needle point.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Randy Lee Beadle and his wife, Catherine Martin Beadle and Roger Donnell Beadle and his wife, Charlene Robin Vance; grandchildren, Tracy (Chad) Lish, Jason (Beckie) Beadle, Ryan Beadle, Michael (Velvet) Vance, Chris (Danielle) Vance. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Cain Lish, Landon Rich, Leah Rich, Ava Beadle, Mya Beadle, Louie Beadle, her sister Margaret Poston and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time on Friday. Interment will follow at Wilson Co. Memorial Park.
