Brenda Gail Dorris age 66 of Watertown, died Tuesday evening, Sept. 1, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.  Born Aug. 19, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Ray Gaddes and Mary Louise Owen Gaddes and was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernie Gaddes and Jackie Ray Gaddes.

Brenda was a 1978 graduate of Watertown High School and a Certified Nurse Technician. She was a member of the Linwood Pentecostal Church.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Paul Dorris; daughter, Valeria Dorris and son, Michael Dorris and his wife, Glenna; grandchildren,  Miller Dorris , Lexi Douglas, Gavon (Meghan) Fakes and great grandchild, Ava Fakes.  She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie (Charles) Martin and Bobbie Hale; sister-n-law, Melba Gaddes and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Friday, Sept. 4, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home with Steve Gaddes officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday and prior to services on Friday. Pallbearers, Luke Flory, Shane Roberts, Justin Haley, Colton Gaddes ,Jessie Gaddes, Miguel Martinez. Interment will follow at Jones Hill Cemetery.
