Andrew Foster McIntyre age 86 of Watertown died Monday, July 24, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville. Born April 5, 1937, he was the son of the late James Foster McIntyre and Delee Barnes McIntyre and was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra McIntyre; daughters, Kathy Lynn Butner and Evelyn Christina McIntyre; 12 brothers and sisters. Andrew was a veteran of the US Army and was a driller for several drilling companies. He is survived by his children, Sherrie McIntyre, Kimberly McIntyre, Ursula McIntyre, Susie Cox, Butch Butner; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation from 10 a.m. till service time on Sunday. Interment will be at Wilson Co. Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to assist the family.
