Alan Dill "Big Al" Smith age 57 of Watertown died Wednesday evening, Oct. 9, 2019 at his residence. Born May 18, 1962 in Nashville, he was preceded in death by his father, James T. Smith, Sr. and stepfather, James T. Reeves. Alan was a building maintenance supervisor for AIG Insurance. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Kelly Smith; children, Rachel Meadows, Henry and John Melo; grandchildren, Ross and Ryan Meadows; mother, Jannie Reeves; brothers and sisters, James Smith, Jr., Jerry (Ruthie) Smith, Isaac (May) Smith, Cindy Smith, Ash Smith, Betty (Tom) Barnett, Jim (Shelly) Reeves; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Cindy Kelly; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2019 at Hunter Funeral Home with John Summers officiating. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Sunday and prior to services on Monday. Pallbearers, Tommy, Jerry and Issac Smith, Jim Reeves, Tommy Kelly, Henry Melo. Honorary pallbearer, Austin Reeves. Interment at Hunter Memorial Park.
